Delivery of twelve pieces of HAMMAR sideloaders for the Army of the Czech Republic

The company CONTSYSTEM Group SE together with the chassis supplier SCANIA and its subsidiary Contsystem s.r.o. successfully completed the delivery project of 12 pieces of HAMMAR 190 HB sideloaders to the Czech Army. These vehicles are designed to transport ISO containers and material over longer distances for military missions abroad.

The military logistics of the Czech Army is an important part of the conduct of military operations and involves cooperation between various components of the army, such as suppliers and transport companies. When choosing the appropriate equipment, the army relied on experience and many years of practice with shipments to the locations of military units.

The sideloader HAMMAR 190 HB is a versatile model for handling ISO 1C containers. It enables lifting containers to/from the ground, moving containers to/from another chassis or stacking. The Scania R590 8x8 transporter is characterized by a long range and high engine power. With a full tank, it can travel over a thousand kilometers and offers the option of a full overnight stay for the crew in the vehicle, which is a great benefit that makes it easier for drivers to transport materials to deployment locations. This chassis model is new for the AČR fleet.

For the Army of the Czech Republic, this is another step towards the acquisition of modern technology and the transfer of military equipment to the designated location in the optimal time and at the optimal cost.
