DELIVERY OF FOUR TRUCKS WITH HAMMAR 110 SIDELIFTERS FOR THE CZECH ARMY

In cooperation with chassis supplier Scania and the subsidiary Contsystem s.r.o. we have successfully completed the delivery project of four truck sets consisting of a HAMMAR 110 HC semi-trailer and a SCANIA R590 A 6x4NB tractor. The vehicles serve the Army of the Czech Republic for longer transports of multitrack ISO containers on local roads and abroad.

The HAMMAR 110 HC sidelifter enables lifting of 20' - 40' containers to/from ground level, to/from another chassis/wagon or stacking of containers. It has a dual-action support leg that can work in two modes. In Step-Over mode, the outrigger legs extend over the companion chassis or wagon to allow transfer to/from that chassis. In Sledge mode, the support legs are folded and can be placed on top of the second chassis, which is useful in cases where there is not enough room to spread them.

For the Czech Army, this is another step towards the acquisition of modern technology and the transfer of military equipment to the designated location in the optimal time and at the optimal cost.
