Order for the Belgian Armed Forces

CONTSYSTEM Group is cooperating with CONTSYSTEM on one of the biggest projects, the supply of HIAB and MULTILIFT superstructures on 223 trucks for the Belgian armed forces.

The complete order received by DAF from the Belgian Armed Forces includes 879 military vehicles, of which over 600 two-axle and 4x4 vehicles for general cargo transport, in addition to over 200 four-axle trucks in 8x8 chassis configuration for various applications (tippers, container transport vehicles and cranes).

DAF selected HIAB as the supplier of all hooklifts and hydraulic loader cranes and CONTSYSTEM as the subcontractor for the assembly of all HIAB and MULTILIFT superstructures.

Our company CONTSYSTEM Group participated in the project from the very beginning of the first negotiations, thus creating the conditions for the successful installation of superstructures on chassis. Individual vehicles went through a demanding prototype production process and subsequent tests. In the autumn, serial production will take place, for which the company has prepared the set conditions.
